I suppose
I’ll take it as a compliment
Though I’m not sure I care
It frustrates me
The surface level attention
The meaningless compliments
I know you’ll mean it by your intentions
When you find me
And say that I’m beautiful
I’ll know you’re not lying
Your sincere smile
